Dear Jesus, You tell me that the happy life is one where I take the peace you have made with me and use it to make peace with others. It’s happy because peace is happiness. But it’s also happy because I know I’m pleasing your heavenly Father with the wisdom and strength you provide. Help me to create peace by unconditionally apologizing for my sin toward others and by unconditionally forgiving those who have sinned against me. It’s fun to watch your gospel work down where the rubber meets the road. Help me so the hard thing and really get things squared away between myself and others. Amen.

Pursue peace with people more than cooperation with your wants and needs and you’ll experience life in a whole new depth.
